Places are limited and registration is required.

What the afternoon covers
The afternoon has two parts. The first is four short talks. Dr. Patricia Tejedor explains what robotic surgery is, and Dr. Torrent goes over how surgery moved from open operations to laparoscopy and then to the robot. The other two deal with metastatic colorectal cancer and are framed as questions: whether patients with liver metastases can be cured, and whether peritoneal carcinomatosis can be cured.
The second part is hands-on. After the question time with the doctors there is a comparison of laparoscopy and robotics on a pelvic trainer, followed by a session with the robot's console, arms and instruments. It includes a precision exercise with grapes that some attendees will be able to try under supervision.
